Classic austin Mini spin on oil filter conversion kit , Sprite & MG Midget

Description

The old canister type oil filters are not only passe, but a real pain. Modern spin-on filters are readily available, easier to change and provide much better filtering; spin-ons are available with super micron filtration and even built in magnetic traps. The conversion from the old canister type to the modern spin-on is a simple matter of removing two studs, replacing the filter head and securing it all with two short bolts. Our kit includes all the pieces;

GFE148=Spin On Oil Filter
FITS Minis and 1275 converted Minors and Sprite and Midget.
Does not fit on automatics
Note: If your older canister system had a low oil pressure switch connected, that circuit is no longer used. These heads have a ball bearing bypass valve that eliminates the need for that warning system.
